Want to add Ajax powered chat application to your website? Lace has the answer, It is a free Ajax powered chat application.
It takes advantage of Ajax (XMLHttpRequest) if present, and degrades gracefully if it is not. It is basically the AJAX Chat PHP script but with few good features. Unlike Meebo that connect you to Yahoo/AOL etc, Lace is PHP script for running a simple chat on your own website.
Few features that are added in recently release version 0.1.4 of Lace are:
Scrollable message history
Basic anti-flood protection
Basic nickname hijack protection
System messages now optional
Unicode fixes
