The XMLHttpRequest Object : W3C Working Draft

Is Ajax is on its way to get standardized ? The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has published the first Working Draft on the XMLHttpRequest Object, the major component behind AJAX technology on the W3C website. The working draft is produced by the Web API WG, part of the Rich Web Clients Activity in the W3C Interaction Domain.

This draft document aims to provide more interoperability between the different XMLHttpRequest implementations and avoiding to have plateform dependant code i.e. way toward standardization of XMLHttpRequest object.



The document provides the specification proposal for the XMLHttpRequest object, its Attributes and methods.
