AJAX Desktop of the Future Previewed at AJAXLaunch.com

"In a few weeks we will be releasing the ajaxOS, a fully functional AJAX-aware operating system," reads a statement at AjaxLaunch.com, the "AJAX for Everyone" website launched by Hisham El-Emam (CTO) and Michael Robertson (CEO, pictured) as the public face of Ajax13 Inc., their San Diego-based software development company aimed at introducing web-based applications written using AJAX based methodology.
"The most exciting feature in ajaxOS is the ability to store to a remote server, with full access to file navigation on this remote server as well as your computer's hard disk. As easily as you save and open documents on your local machine, you will be able to do so on our secure servers."
AJAXLaunch.com burst onto the scene in March with the launch of ajaxWrite, which Robertson described as a "cornerstone application" of the new AJAXified world he envisages, in which "bloated, expensive PC software " is replaced with "a system that dynamically loads software to your computer when you need it and at no cost."
