SOA Vendor Stampede Accelerates Web 2.0, AJAX Environments

Stampede says its Web 2.0 Performance Series is the first enterprise application delivery solution specifically designed to accelerate and secure asynchronous Web 2.0 applications. With Stampede’s expertise in building acceleration software solutions over a decade, the company says it has been able to come up with this cutting technology that injects additional performance and accelerated security to optimize and protect emerging client-centric applications that utilize Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Asynchronous Java And XML (AJAX) technologies.
The Stampede Web 2.0 Performance Series adds three major acceleration capabilities that maximize the performance of network-intrusive Web 2.0 applications. First, Stampede’s Web 2.0 Performance Series technology is now XML-aware with compression and streaming for large XML documents.
Finally, Stampede will also introduce Acceleration OnDemand for the delivery of the client software component at the N+I show. Client software need not be installed on remote devices; instead, the necessary software is injected into any Web page the first time it is needed and automatically downloaded to the client.
