Founded in 2002 and privately funded, Zapatec aims at medium-to-large enterprise customers and has a roster of customers that includes HP, Boeing, Time Warner Cable and Cartier.

Its standards-based Zapatec AJAX Suite, announced today, works with all modern browsers including IE 5.0+, Mozilla 1.2+, Opera 8.0+, Firefox 1.0+, and Safari 1.2, and uses standard protocols such as HTML, CSS, XML and JSON.
