Eribium: the RoR-AJAX Content Management System
04/03/2006, By JavaScriptSearch
A new content management system, built with Ruby on Rails and popular JavaScript libraries, has been declared alpha and is now available for download at http://www.eribium.org. It uses programming languages, typically not associated with CMSs; but this is not the only unusual thing about Eribium. The show-stealer is the fact that a 16 year old with little programming experience was able to use Ruby on Rails and create a working CMS in a relatively short time.
The alpha version archive is 1.3 MB. It includes instructions for installation. When complete, Eribium will be released under MIT license.
