Half A Million AJAX Documents In One Week

An AJAX Online Word Processor launched last week has created more than half a million documents online in just six days of operation.

When ajaxWrite, launched last week, the novel Internet-based application promised a six second load time, but unprecedented demand overloaded the system's servers and pushed the load out to more than a minute on the first day. However, throwing some more hardware at the problem bought about a quick resolution. Today down speed is a quite respectable 10 seconds.
