Backbase Ajax-based RSS Reader

One of the most visually appealing RSS readers I've come across has to be Backbase's AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript and XML) RSS Reader. Backbase uses it as an example of the RIA (Rich Internet Application) apps you can build with their AJAX IDE.

The Backbase Ajax RSS Reader uses a slightly different visual paradigm than most RSS readers, eschewing the typical 3-pane window for something completely different: one hideable pane per feed, as well as search pane and a item description pane.

There's only one problem - well three actually. Firstly, because the reader is still in development, it only runs on some web browsers. I tried it with IE 6, Mozilla 1.75, Firefox 1.5.0.1, Netscape 8.02, and Opera 8.52. Backbase doesn't support Opera, and IE 6 doesn't display the feed headlines.
