The ultimate goal is to make a WordPress plugin that is a little more flexible than Votio, that allows you to put multiple ratings in a single post, and doesn't tie the voting to a specific Category.
I pretty much solved the problem of getting multiple rating bars on one page (if you wanted to put a rating system in multiple posts on one page, for example) although I'm sure the code is far clunkier than it needs to be. I made the function
where x is the ID.
I also got this to check if an ID exists when voting...and if it does, just update the right record, and if it doesn’t, to Insert that new ID into the db.
