So you’re working on the next big Web 2.0. product but you’re not actually at the point where you can show anyone anything yet? The perfect solution is a page with a mailing list sign-up box so when you actually do launch, you can send off an email to thousands of prospective users. We’re doing it with audiozue and so far the results have been great.
When building the form for audiozue I didn’t want users to have to refresh just to sign up for the mailing list so I used AJAX plus a simple PHP script to do the work.
